Dress up that décolletage
Necklaces and Necklines
Necklaces like all pieces of jewelry accentuate your outfit, so how do you choose the right one? Pairing the right necklace with the correct neckline can sometimes be a daunting task.. Here we have listed a few to help you choose the right necklace for your outfit.
Turtle Necks: Turtlenecks are one of our favorites as it helps accentuates your face and elongates figure of the person wearing it. A long chain with a beautiful pendant is what you can easily pair with a turtle neck. No 702. from our Pyramid collection, would go perfectly with this type of neckline, as they both have a beautiful drop pendant which would transform an ordinary turtle neckline into an extremely classy outfit.
Crew Neckline: Crew necklines or round necklines are something which we all wear very often, especially in the form of t-shirts. Its versatile and can be worn with either a small neck piece or a bib/collar neckpiece which would amp up the style of your simple casual t-shirt and turn it into a glamorous off-duty look. Raina and Riya are the perfect pieces from our collection for this look, as their curved shape and structure would sit perfectly and highlight the neckline. You could also wear our Pavla necklaces which are dainty and can be adjusted to be worn as a choker for a casual understated look.
Scoop Neckline: A scoop neckline is an exaggerated round neck. This casual neckline with just right amount of accessories can be easily turned into a chic dressy look, which can be worn for dates, parties, barbecues etc. Fill in the space with layers of petite neklaces such as Pavla or choose larger scale pendants for a dressier look . We think our Raina and Tina necklaces look fabulous with this neckline.
Strapless/ Off-shoulder Neckline: A strapless or an off-shoulder neckline is something which has been all over summer ‘16. Jewelry wise thin necklaces, layered or not, look fab with off the shoulder tops or dresses. Try layering our Pavla necklaces in different lengths or you could even try a choker to accentuate that collar bone. TIP: You can wear your hair down slightly messy in those beach waves, or pull it up in a messy ponytail/bun and expose those shoulders.
Square Neckline: The square neckline is an angular neckline and will pair up well with an angular pendant. Tia and Tina from our collections are a good option, as neck pieces that have a horizontal pendant would fit perfectly with a square neckline.
Halter Neckline: A halter neckline features a scoop or a cowl or V-neckline. We think its best to pair this neckline with statement earrings however if you must, wear this neckline with a slim narrow pendant with a sharper end. We recommend No.702 and Pavla (vertical) from our collection.
V-Neckline: Pairs best with a necklace that matches the shape of the V – depending if it’s a wider or narrower V neck. It can turn a casual everyday top to a classy and stylish one. Lira, Pavla and No.702 from our collection would pair well with a V-neckline.
Collared Shirt: This is one of the trickiest necklines to work with, as there isn’t much space for anything too wide, so a choker style works if you have a long neck, if not a slimmer pendant that sits above the last open button. We recommend No.703, No.704 and No.701 from our collection will can be layered and look absolutely ravishing
Boat Neckline: A boat neckline is a broad, high and slightly curved neckline which accentuates the collar bones. Any long neckpiece such as Nina and Pavla from our collection will work wonderfully.
Sweetheart Neckline: Sweetheart necklines are a favourite of many women. It is the perfect blend of girl-next-door and drop-dead-gorgeous. Raina and Lira from our collection would look perfect on a sweetheart neckline top. Anything curved that has width will balance the open decolletage of this neckline.
Hope this helps you all a little and makes pairing necklaces less intimidating.. So what are you guys waiting for? Channelize your inner fashionista and choose the right neckpiece with the right neckline!
